It's very heavy so a little goes away forever. It's actually unscented, which is perfect when I'm at lineman college surrounded by some pretty tough guys I sure don't want to douse in heavily scented aftershave. I would still feel uncomfortable doing it. But I digress. I bought this in the north west in early January and it was terribly cold and part of the training requires us to put four hours in it every day and please believe me this is this absolute zero kind of bones - freezing cold, with a raging wind ( another digression, yes, but it is significant) that dries the face severely. Or I'm sure it would; My hands are cracked and split if there are any signs of it. This moisturizer stopped that. I also love how much healthier my skin looks and feels and since it's the only one I use I know it's a catalyst. It's a bit overpriced but you absolutely get what you pay for. It's worth it. And, to add a final thought, if you're not drinking enough water and staying hydrated, no amount of product can do wonders. water is good for you
