Summary: Ordered to learn the basics of quadcopter control. Observations: Great starter kit. labeling them so I can rotate them to spread wear across multiple components also helps identify the one component that has a problem. 2) Find a good storage box to keep everything together, I used the Sistema box (listed below). 3) Be careful when landing on an uneven surface like grass, as anything sticking out vertically can damage the propeller. 4) When installing the batteries, try to loop the cord to make the door close more easily; When removing, try not to tug on the cord to unplug (which will likely be difficult given its small size). 5) Lithium batteries last longer if allowed to cool after use before recharging; also store at 30-50% charge which I estimate is 45 minutes considering a full charge is 90 minutes. Advantages: 1) Includes three batteries and two chargers; Spare blades and cons: 1) Using a screwdriver to change the battery is redundant (so I left the screws for both the controller and the drone doors). 2) The instructions are a bit confusing, especially the headless mode and speed.
