Revainrating 3 out of 5

The purchase was not entirely successful, there were minor problems in use.

I was compelled to imac late 2022 (the motherboard failed, and it's rather worthless to repair it for money), and the "road" macbook pro 13 2022 (the battery swelled, and the anti-glare coating was worn off, leaving unattractive patches on the display). Both of these computers died in 2022. There was a thought to make one thing more or less productive, which was one of the ideas. When I factored in all of the discounts, cashbacks, and other savings opportunities, I paid 190k for rst. I am, all things considered, somewhat dissatisfied with the purchase. I have a variety of reactions: the laptop has a pleasant feel to its surface, a stylish and functional design, fantastic speakers, keyboard, and display, and an adequate battery. In many aspects (including having an iPhone, using Apple everyday apps, and using airdrop), I am a hostage to the ecosystem. Mac OS X continues to have advantages over Windows in a number of areas, including its compatibility with external monitors. However, in many respects, Windows has already caught up and surpassed Mac OS X. What's more, on the same computer, Windows seems to operate in a more streamlined and swift manner. And when it comes to performance, especially when it comes to video, the MacBook lags much below laptops that are either half as expensive or even three times as expensive as it is. In addition, this is still a revised and improved model (keyboard, cooling, display cable, and a terabyte of solid state storage in the database). It is frightening to contemplate the level of dissatisfaction that may be experienced by those who purchased previous tags. My list of potential claims was much longer, but I had to maintain within the constraints of the signage, so I only included the most irritating ones. There is a good chance that I will not consider a poppy to be the subsequent computer. Perhaps travel by air in some cases.

Pros
  • 1. The design, the amount of weight, the assembly, and the dimensions. Light, thin, and with a lovely feel to the touch. There are instances when it is not sufficient, even though I do not want the lid to have a broader opening angle. 2. The presentation is very impressive. I am completely at a loss for words when it comes to describing him. IPS, outstanding viewing angles, colors, and image quality; image quality is high; brightness is above average. The aspect ratio is 16 to 10, and this is a huge bonus because the diagonals are so narrow. 3. Press "fire" on the keyboard. Less noise than the older scissors, and they move slightly less. Typing is immensely entertaining. Butterfly was something I did not see, therefore I am unable to compare it to anything. The touchpad maintains its high standard of quality. When the laptop lid is closed, the keyboard almost always leaves markings on the screen. Let's check back in on the anti-reflective coating in a couple of years and see how it's holding up. 4. Fire for the speakers. In these dimensions, I have never heard anything that sounded better. Can be used in place of a bluetooth speaker with ease. However, when the music or film is rewound, the speakers click. They identified the problematic software and gave an assurance that it will be fixed. There has been a delay of two years. Did not fix the problem. 5. Ports. 4 usb-c. Can be charged from either the left or the right side. You are free to insert anything into any of the available ports. There has been a large quantity of releases of adapters, and they are not pricey. I am not a photographer, therefore I do not feel the need to make up for the absence of a card reader. In addition, I do not shed a tear for Magseif in any way. However, there are a few issues. If the mouse and the transmitter are located on opposite sides of the laptop, the wireless mouse will not function properly (the pointer will move more slowly). Also, sometimes when devices are disconnected from the laptop ports, whether it be an external drive or a monitor, the system freezes and crashes foolishly, and then it reboots. This happens regardless of whether the device in question is an external drive or a monitor. 6. Having autonomy is a plus. It is obvious that if you want to plant it in an hour, you may do so, but if you set the brightness to be above average for seven hours, it will most certainly function for easy chores. On the other hand, the battery lasted a little bit longer on the 13th of 2022. 7. A terabyte solid-state drive (ssd) has been implemented in the database, although its predecessors only had 256–512 megabytes. 8. The handoff and airdrop capabilities started functioning much more normally (the connection is lost much less frequently, and the delay that used to occur occasionally between clicking the send button and the beginning of the file transfer has been eliminated).
Cons
  • 1. WiFi. Pain. Low power module, inconsistent signal reception due to its low strength. Even the iPhone is a better option. I have included a picture in this post. 2. Sadly, the quality of software available for macOS has been steadily declining over the past few years. You could spend a significant amount of time listing the issues. The laptop experiences slowness when enlarging application windows, stutters when browsing through various lists, and reduces the speed of Google and maps, as well as panoramas in safari. When you preview a large Excel spreadsheet, your computer may become unresponsive for a few seconds. An inactive program or browser tab that is running in the background can cause the processor to start loading data and the fans to start spinning. The steam is just terrible. When you apply effects to an image in Skitch, the program slows down significantly. 3. If you have any intention of playing games, you should look elsewhere for a laptop. In a great number of games, the option to select a screen resolution cannot be changed. The performance of games played on Windows using Boot Camp is roughly equivalent to half of what the theoretical maximum could be. If you are looking at the specifications and thinking that it is fine, that it has four teraflops, and that you will be able to play modern games at 1080p resolution using bootcamp, you are incorrect. When playing games, the system can literally reset the frequencies on the video and CPU in a matter of minutes. These frequencies can range anywhere from the default 1.5 / 2.3 up to 0.4 / 1.1. Along with this, the frame rate will drop. And in this instance, the issue is one of overheating despite the comparatively low temps. There is a possibility that the laptop uses an excessive amount of power and that its capabilities are artificially restricted as a result (discharged in games from the charger that was included). Yes, the version with 5600m for an additional 70 thousand suffers from this issue as well, albeit to a somewhat lesser extent. There is not a single third-party driver available on the bootcampdrivers site that can fix this issue. It has been suggested on reddit that heat pads be adhered. 7. Even with the lid closed and performing simple duties, it generates a great deal of heat and increases the amount of rotation of the coolers by between 50 and 100%. The constant commotion is wearing. 8. The touchbar continues to be of little utility. Even with preinstalled programs, tasks can be initiated with a tap of the finger. This is almost always a duplicate of some of the buttons that are displayed on the screen. 9. The feature that allows you to "manage battery life" behaves in an odd manner. The technology maintains the charge in the range of 75–80, and it will recharge all the way up to 100 after being disconnected from the charging source.
