Review on πŸ”Š Black Yamaha NS-555 3-Way Tower Speaker with Bass Reflex (Each) by Kim Eunu ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A really necessary purchase, I'm glad I found this product.

To be honest, I'm satisfied, especially after I connected it via Bi-Wiring. For the price, I think this is the best option. Good bass, flat frequency range, good headroom for a large room. Great for cinema, very good for music. I think I'll play around with the cables, I somehow underestimated it at first, but now I realized that there is a difference. In general, a good quality technique.

Pros
  • Guys, I have owned these speakers for more than 3 years, I can tell you everything in detail. The first advantage - on the face, this is undoubtedly one of the brightest and most chic speakers in appearance, will decorate any interior. Further - an even frequency range in the entire spectrum, a very balanced sound without any deliberate screaming protruding color in any of the timbres. Further - a very good bass, at some point turning off the subwoofer and forgetting about it, listened to music and did not notice its absence, then I was somewhat pleasantly surprised that it sounded like that without a subwoofer. As for power, I listen in a room of 18 sq. M. - I'll be honest - quite enough. Having connected for the first time after pokuk, I was simply shocked by the sound content of the room, which was simply absorbed by the music and plunged me into this atmosphere with my head. I listen to all genres, mostly rock, but at the same time it happens to pop music and sometimes classics too - I really like the piano with the orchestra. Well, in general, quite versatile speakers for different genres. Digital sources with 5.1 sound generally work out for 5+. For a cinema, this is probably the best option among this category, and possibly a slightly higher category.
Cons
  • After the purchase, I was happy as a child for a month, probably. But then the annoying thought began to visit sometimes that the high frequencies of the uppermost range were not enough, I wanted more transparency in the sound, so that I wouldn’t find fault with it at all. Moreover, this situation mainly related to listening to music in stereo mode. In movies or DVDs with 5.1 sound, this was not noticed. At first I dumped it on the receiver (Yamaha RX-V459). But just recently I connected via Bi-Wiring (high and bass separately) and this problem somehow disappeared for me, well, at least an improvement in the face. At the same time, the sound became softer, the basses cooled down somewhat, but they did not lose depth, and the highs tightened up and sounded in a new way!
