Of course, being intended for a trimmer, it comes with a tiny barrel connector, while mine requires the standard 2.1 x 5.5mm version. I already have several of these barrel adapters: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0185K52D6/. Cut the existing tiny barrel, remove the wires and use a 2.1mm adapter to turn it into what I needed. It took about 5 minutes from the time the charger arrived to when I modified it to work. Although my work light only requires a 350mA charger and this charger outputs 1A, my work light only draws 350mA while charging due to the charging circuitry. built into my work light. However, since this charger is rated at 1A, it could be used for other projects I'll build in the future that may require a higher milliamp draw. Sometimes it makes more sense to get a charger with more milliamp capacity than you need if you're into electronics. The charging cable is made from 20-22 gauge braided copper wire, thick enough for a 4.2V 1A charger. The charger doesn't get very hot so it charges my device easily. I like the built in lighting. It will turn matte red while charging and hopefully blue when fully charged. As long as it is not connected to anything, it will be displayed in blue. It's not one of those horribly bright status LEDs that will blind you, it's a very nice low light. I'm happy to report that it charges my little work light, but I don't know yet if the LED on the wart on the wall will change from red to blue to indicate it's fully charged because I haven't for use intended purpose. Although I bought the charger with the wrong connector for my needs, I was able to upgrade it and am very happy with its performance and the brightness of the status LED (which I think is the ideal brightness).
