So I'm the kind of buyer who reads all the bad reviews first so I can see if there's a recurring theme that ties in with any of the issues, who I should be After reading the bad reviews I was hesitant because the amount of fluff and hair loss seemed to be mentioned a lot. However, I took a chance and ordered the towels I wanted. I followed the instructions for the first wash and yes. There was a lot of lint in the first wash. Significantly less than a second wash and I believe the amount will continue to decrease with additional uses/washes. The softness and size is exactly what I was hoping for. The towels are thick and the quality is excellent. If you are concerned about lint after the first two washes. I personally think there are far more positives than negatives to this product. Also, I've never bought a brand new towel that didn't shed excess lint after the first two washes. I bought dark towels and after 2 washes the color is exactly the same and doesn't fade. The only reason it has 4 stars instead of 5 is because the thickness of the towel makes it a little heavy and dries slowly after use. A very small compromise for size and softness. If the amount of lint does not decrease or if it becomes a problem with transferring fibers to my body during use. I will update my rating. For now I'm happy with my purchase.
