Unlike your everyday bluetooth keyboard, this keyboard can transform the iPad into almost a mini laptop for simple tasks like emailing, blogging, taking meeting minutes, etc. I love how the keyboard allows the iPad to be propped up anywhere, allowing me to be productive even on moving vehicles or while laying in bed. Although the case is much heavier than a typical iPad case, I definintely think that it is worth the extra weight given its utility. It also has nice extra functions such as the ability to light up, and control of screen brightness/volume from the keyboard.Unfortunately, some of the keyboard keys randomly stopped working after 10 months of use. However, the seller was very good about honoring their one year warranty and promptly sent me a replacement keyboard. It seems like a lot of case/keyboard style products do end up breaking after a while from reading reviews of multiple products, but I definitely think that it is worth trying. Now I can never go back to regular standalone bluetooth keyboards!
