I still use this product. I only set the whitening options to 4 because it seemed like it would take longer if my teeth needed whitening. I think it will take different amounts of time for everyone. In general the product works, it takes time to get used to when brushing. There is mint flavor in charcoal, but if you're new to this product, or charcoal in general, just know you're going to get both a peppermint flavor and charcoal in your mouth. You won't regret the end result even though the product claims to work.
