I rarely write reviews but have decided to leave one on this product in case someone else reads and wonders if it will help them , excessively bleached, hair to become thin. I have naturally fine, wavy hair that was almost platinum treated twice a few months ago. Most of the length has been dyed brown before going blonde. When I was touching up roots a few weeks ago, they did another bleach down the length (with 13 vol oxidizer for 20 minutes) to try and get some of it off. . other brass are muted. There was an error. The length of my hair is so brittle now that I can't comb it through without breaking TONS and God forbid I even touch it while it's wet. It's sticky and too stretchy. My worst fears came true. BUT after using this mask twice in combination with Olaplex my hair is MUCH easier to comb, much less breakage and feels more normal again. Yes, the reduction in hair breakage probably has a lot to do with Olaplex, but I used Olaplex alone before purchasing this mask and my hair still felt like hay. I think it was the combination of the two products that ultimately did the trick. Since getting this mask I've done 2 standalone treatments with Olaplex 1 and 2 (bought from a friend who works as a stylist - don't buy Olaplex from Revain as it's most likely a fake!). After both full Olaplex treatments, I washed my hair with Olaplex shampoo, applied this mask for 5 minutes, then washed off and applied Olaplex conditioner. My hair no longer looks parched or fried and it feels SO soft. It's still not 100% healthy, but it's close enough to health that I can imagine my hair getting through everything I've been through. Plus it smells heavenly. Reminds me of vanilla cake batter before baking. I will continue to use this mask weekly.
