Exactly what we were looking for!

We recently moved into a new house. Our eight year old son's bedroom is relatively large with very high ceilings. We like his room, but we have noticed that he has trouble sleeping. He built a fortress out of cardboard boxes and one night decided to spend the night in it instead of in his bed. He slept well that night. We let him sleep there a few more nights to see if there really was a connection. We noticed that he slept well when he was in the fort. We decided to look for alternatives that would give him the same comforts as the fort but without the boxes taking up half his room. When we came across this tent bed, we asked him what he thought of it. He was very excited so we ordered it. Installation was surprisingly easy and I did it myself in just 10 minutes. She's been sleeping soundly in it for a month now. It's big enough for my husband and I to sit down when we put it down. It's pretty dark inside when it's fully closed (which we think is a good thing). It has a book lamp for reading, and book, journal and pencil are in a mesh pocket inside. Sometimes during the day he just goes and sits there because it's like a cozy little den. Now our daughter is asking for a tent too!
