They are a little tight around the calves but other than that they are perfect. I have size 12 men's shoes. I wear them with my work boots at the nuclear power plant because my boots rub my hair on the inside of my shin. I've always had a problem with profuse sweating on my feet, which makes my shoes smell horribly after a month of work. I've had the boots for a few months now and the smell has started to take them up a notch. I just started wearing these socks this week. They breathe very well and while nothing keeps my feet from sweating, I no longer feel like my feet are sweaty. They are incredibly absorbent and nothing seems to land on the soles of the boots. The good news is, the boots no longer smell!
