I don't write many reviews but this collar is amazing and unique. I have a mini Ausi. He is very smart and barks A LOT at the neighbors to make noise and just to get attention. I have tried several collars with no success and also other devices. Some had sounds that scared him (I'd rather deal with barking than watch my dog live in fear). and others he simply ignored. I refused to try one that would shock him. This collar has served its purpose. I programmed it so that the first bark is only answered by my "no bell" voice. That usually stops him. He looks around to see where I am and stops barking. Sometimes he barks again, which again calls my voice along with a slight vibration. and the third bark (it rarely goes that far) brings out my voice and medium vibration. I like being able to program it the way I want it. It started working the first time I put it on him and even now he doesn't seem to mind when I put it on and it still keeps him from barking. I don't have to wear it for more than about 30 minutes a week (sort of a reminder for him). Finally my house is quiet and my dog is happy, this collar doesn't scare her at all but trains her on the spot without having to keep chasing her. This is a personal language program that works for us. My dog is 4 years old, she is part of our family. So happy that they finally found a way to have a quiet, happy home.
