I bought this to replace a similar item from Benjabelle which broke when I dropped it. It looked similar and worked the same way (and Benjabelle seems to no longer make the product or may have gone out of business). I've only used it once but the plastic brush holders are very tight. It was difficult to remove the brushes without holding everything - I was afraid of breaking them. This may be because this is my first time using this item. Also, it was extremely difficult to remove the backing paper attached to all parts. A day or two later I received an email from the seller explaining how to remove the backing, but I would have been more grateful if instructions had been included with the product. However, it allowed makeup brushes to dry to prevent water from dripping onto the tip.
