Review on Dorman 84768 Terminal Replacement Socket by Jake Solorzano

This bulb connector was just what I needed. I hit a fallen tree on the road and smashed the front of my Ford Ranger pretty badly. This connector is for the turn signal, which is located inside the main headlight housing. I soldered to the wires after cutting off the old terminal. A warning though, the original terminal uses black, green and white wires, while the Dorman 84768 uses all black wires numbered 1-3. There are markings on the terminal itself for which the wire is black, green, and white, but they don't match my native terminal's wiring. Instead, I cut the old wires one by one and attack the new connector wires based on their orientation to the connector that matches the old connector. I don't know if this terminal is used on other cars (very likely) but if I followed the wire color markings on the new terminal it wouldn't match the original wiring so be aware. However, after soldering the wires and heat shrink, this terminal works fine, just like the OEM. The price is great too. We recommend.
