I've used them in the fridge, microwave and oven with no problems. I haven't put them in the freezer yet. Pros: They are durable and easy to clean. Airtight and sealed. The rubber seal is easy to remove. They are easy to clean. I have severe arthritis in my hands that limits my dexterity so I was initially reluctant to purchase these containers. This was because many reviews said the lids were difficult to close. I bet one reviewer said that this isn't a problem as long as you align your eyelids properly. This game was worth it. It's easy to see when the lid is aligned, you can feel it snap into place. The large side latches make them surprisingly easy to open and close despite my arthritis. I just need a second to make sure they line up before trying to snap the sides. Potential downside: This wasn't a problem for me, but those wanting to store leftovers for a larger family will find them on the small side. The container sizes are designed more for singles, a couple or a couple with a small child.
