This one is almost perfect! I had the first option - a frame on which you need to drag a cheap mesh bag. It worked well but looked terrible and was collecting aquarium debris. Also, you had to hook it on the side, which is difficult with an acrylic tank. This version comes pre-mesh so everything fits snugly when assembled and the mesh doesn't tear anywhere. It comes with a floating suction cup and I thought I'd have to replace it but no, it sticks like crazy. No problem. In this small box, 30 young animals were safe for several weeks - all survived, none escaped. It's also great as a "time out" for a naughty fish or someone who isn't doing well. The only problem I had was assembling it - it snapped in and out of my hand. I was convinced it wouldn't work, but if you take the time to sit down and really work on each anchor point, you'll be glad you did. Once you figure it out, it's very durable and won't fall apart on you. I also like the soft blue color - it wasn't such a thorn in the side in the aquarium. Such an improvement! Also cleans well with a soft toothbrush and water.
