These leggings are very soft and made from a very light material. My 6 year old granddaughter has a hard time finding pants or jeans that fit around her waist - she is very athletic, with a tiny waist (that's a problem everyone has, right?). So basically we buy leggings for her, and she prefers them when she gets dressed. Overall they are good value for money but if you live in a cold climate like us be aware that they are good for indoors but not for outdoors.
