I received this toy a few hours before my son's bath. 3 AAA batteries inserted and soldered as directed. Checked at the sink. The light came on, along with the internal propeller (to direct water into the spout), but didn't leave it in the sink long enough to notice the water escaping from the top. He took the toy out of the sink and put it in the tub. It swims quite well, but immediately noticed that it does not turn on. After about 5 seconds in the bath the propeller finally turned on and started sucking in water but no water came out. After about 10 seconds, the water still doesn't come out at the top and the light is still off. Shortly after, the toy turned off and never turned on again. I put it back in the sink and it still won't turn on. I then dried the toy and checked the batteries to see they were still completely dry. Changed the batteries and it still won't turn on. I let it dry overnight with the battery case and prop cover open. The toy is completely dead after 20 seconds of use. I definitely DO NOT recommend buying this waste of money.
