These little mounting clips are 100 times easier to use than the little stickers and screws that came with my LED strip order. We used about 70 clamps for 48 foot fixtures. About 5 or 6 adhesive gels detached from the red backed clips rendering them unusable. Seeing what had happened, I was able to scrape the edges of the gels to separate them from the backing with my nails if they got stuck, but my nail-biting teenage son couldn't because his nails are too short. The clips close with snap locks and can be opened again with a little effort. They could be used into the corners of the room which made the application look nice and even. They are made of transparent plastic and are completely invisible on white, turquoise and black walls. in my son's room which makes for a great finished look. We installed LED lights tonight so I have to give an update on how well the adhesive holds, but it stuck VERY firmly almost every time except where the wall was still wet from the alcohol cleaning and the corner that mine Son didn't wipe before. Eventually my son ripped the bracket right off the wall because he installed it off center and he peeled off the paint (see picture). Overall, compared to the headaches and high failure rate people experience when using the adhesives that come with their LEDs, I am very happy with this purchase.
