These gloves fit well and are very comfortable but do not let them come into contact with the velcro as that is their kryptonite. If you're going to use them in law enforcement, they're going to have to come in contact with Velcro at some point, so be prepared for them to start clinging and looking grubby due to the tension of the fibers. I can't fault them for being very snug and able to control my phone without having to take them off, just the velcro. I'm sure these gloves will stand up to melee weapons better than bloody velcro.
