I bought this reading pillow to put in the corner of the room to give me a slightly different learning environment. The pillow was packaged in vacuum plastic and expanded rapidly when opened. The packaging said it might take 24 hours to fully open, but mine was ready in minutes. *there's* a bit of a chemical smell that needs airing out, dousing with essential oils or whatever, but it's gone now. Just be prepared that you won't be able to use it right away and you'll be fine. The pillow is very firm which is good for the back and only gets better with some wear. It feels very soft and is comfortable to sit on. on the. Bags are really cool to have. One on each arm, the size of a cell phone; and a large one at the back that fits a tablet, magazine, or book. I'm happy with it, although I had to wait a day or two before I could use it.
