I don't usually write reviews for the products I buy but on this product, wow! This bento box is amazing! Traditional plastic is rough and releases chemicals and leachate when microwaved or used to hold hot food and beverages. So it's 100% worth using traditional plastic when it comes to your food when you use wheat fiber plastic instead. But that's not all that's amazing - the three-tier bento box is super convenient, saves space in the included lunch bag, and offers a good portion size. And the color is very beautiful! I'm a father to a half-Japanese daughter and got this to cook her homemade Japanese and Asian high school meals like I've been doing since she was in kindergarten. I just got it and made her first takoyaki and chicken lunch today just to see if she likes it before I make her summer school Monday lunch and she loves it all. The soup bowl comes with a ladle and is a good size, the portions in the box itself are a good size too and looks forward to her next meal. I also bought her some pretty treats for her bananas and packed her some chopsticks. (Not included, but both chopsticks and chopsticks are on Amazon too!) It also makes my passion for cooking. I cannot express how happy I am with this product! Thank you!
