I plugged it into a kitchen outlet where I saw tiny sugar ants, they are microscopic and seem to appear at this time of year. It doesn't block the other exit and doesn't affect either of my two small dogs. I could never figure out how these ants got into the house and I didn't want to waste any more time on sprays. The spray I used kills on contact, but then so does my finger. It didn't work to prevent them and didn't affect them when they went through the dry patches I sprayed previously. So I'm trying out these ultrasound items and hoping to get rid of them. I will update the results in a few weeks after connecting. This didn't work for me with sugar ants on my counter.
