UPDATE: it came out of the wash just fine. Cold & gentle cycle, hang dry.Another reviewer mentioned the straight cut of this suit, and they were correct. I am, however, very happy with this suit. I’ve been looking for just this style and color (navy pinstripe) for an elaborate cosplay, and the really strange thing is that with some light professional alterations this would be suitable for work, too.So, my measurements are 45” at the bust, 36” at the waist and 41” at hip - I opted for the 3x. I’m 5’2” and the suit is the perfect length with 2.5” heels. The suit is unsurprisingly tight on the chest (I can’t button the top two buttons of the vest) but I can fake it with the jacket really well because of the low buttons. That’s what I was looking for, honestly. You may want to upsize, because I feel like the sizing chart describes the measurements of the suit rather than the measures of the potential wearer.Overall, I’ve purchased more expensive ill-fitting suits destined for alterations because they fit my bust and little else - this one’s a good buy for the money because the changes I would have to make are minor. And it’s (supposedly) machine washable!Give it a try and return it if it doesn’t work for you.
