This is soap. does what it should; cleans without irritating the skin. We have used it for our 9 year old son with eczema since he was a kid. A very expensive pediatric dermatologist prescribed him a lotion (apparently it used to be OTC). It helped so much that we started buying soap as well. Almost a decade later his father (my husband) was diagnosed with psoriasis. Vanikrem was our first thought and within a month his eyes and face cleared up - it wasn't the only remedy he used for psoriasis but it definitely helped.
