As a novice, I was less than impressed
This was my first pair of snowshoes and I was a bit disappointed in the straps that latch onto your boots; specifically, the ratchets on the straps. The ratcheting mechanics were loose, requiring just the right angle to bite into the strap. Thereafter, they didn't maintain their grip very well. Within 10 minutes of hiking, I had to tighten them back down. The rest of the fit and function are as advertised.

- The trekking poles may not be durable enough for heavy or frequent use
