Considering the price of this lounger I was expecting a quality product similar to Molly & Friends cat furniture. However, I was very disappointed as this is probably one of the worst quality cat furniture I've ever bought, including the $30 Trixie Ibixa lounger I started with. These are: - The carpet was attached to the wooden parts with staples that can be felt and seen all over the lounger. - The sisal rope was also attached to the posts with strong staples that are clearly visible. My cat isn't a big fan of horizontal scratching or sisal, so it's not as dangerous as it might be for others, but it's definitely irritating to the eyes. The color of the carpet is much lighter than the picture you see. on the site (acquired natural beige); So be aware if you decide to buy one and want to match it with existing furniture/rugs in your home - definitely cheaper quality rug that sheds quite a bit (I've vacuumed it twice and it's still falling like crazy) and appears much rougher than Molly & Friend furniture - the middle and top bases are attached to the posts with screws that you can see and feel through the carpet. Although you can roll it up tightly, it won't harm your cat, but it just adds to the cheap overall look of this lounger. All of this to say that I plan on keeping it because the height is perfect for my purposes and I got it for half the price as a stock deal. If I paid full price I would definitely return it for something better.
