I ordered 36 which fits waist size 31-34 inch. The fit is perfect. I wear 32" pants and this belt fits perfectly. . I'm 5ft 7in, 165lbs, lean and muscular. I'm not sure if this will help you as body shape varies greatly and affects fit. The only minor downside is that I was expecting the hardware to look a bit brighter. The photo showed it was stainless steel (slightly shinier) but it's more of a gun metal.
