Review on Carhartt Insulated Glove Black Barley Men's Accessories by Dave Hess

OK, not great. for men

Good. As of April 2021. These gloves are also NOT waterproof. We live on top of a mountain in Colorado's Front Range where it's very cold and mostly windy most of the year. We have chickens and ducks in a very large pen that I built a few years ago. Because of the extreme cold, we have heated water bowls that keep the water well above freezing. I use these gloves several times a day to handle birds and clean water bowls. Even if you splash water on your gloves, it will seep through the seams. Which causes the gloves to get wet on the inside. Shame in the mountain cold of Colorado. In addition, after daily intensive use, the texturing of the outer thin fabric (plastic?) on the fingers and palms begins to wear down. This isn't a problem for me, but after a year or two it falls off and the gloves look torn. They still work well except for water seeping through the seams. It takes time to dry the wet inside of your fingers. And it's PITA! If you don't get wet these are great gloves. Extremely windproof. Not waterproof as advertised.
