The first application was easy. Not as scary as I expected. I didn't know I could stretch them and didn't squeeze them as well as I should have around the edges. Someone mentioned dipping the edges in acetone - I might try that next time but I don't know how to do that without making a mess. I love this color, lots of compliments. My favorite part of it was doing my toes. From a distance they looked super professional! I had enough left over and saw a blog on how to cut a thin strip into 4 small pieces for the little toes - brilliant and in my opinion the set really goes well beyond the money. Some of the nails I have cured are slightly longer than my natural nail. (because some of mine are tilted or bent). They didn't turn out very well - crumpled in the end. Seems possible, but maybe I've done too much? Or I just have to stick on nails that are too long. Most nails lasted a week and two days. My thumbnails were cracking but I don't know why - I didn't hit anything. No problem as there are addons I can replace. They all looked a little rough on day 9 and that was after days at the lake and beach. One nail snapped so I removed them all by dipping them in nail polish remover. Cons: Now 4 days after the removal my real nails have cracked and two had to be trimmed. Some nails have a white stripe. That's why I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5...the condition of my nails after removal I applied nail polish before they were half set. I like their hardness and their shine. They took a little longer to apply than the decals, but they looked different. The stickers lasted over a week without cracking and were easier to remove. I will order them and stickers in the future. Oh I paid for the UV light because I didn't read the details carefully enough. I bought two packs + light at once. If I bought 3 packs, I could get the light for free.
