Well we like to take the whole family out to eat sushi so why haven't we done it before? That's going to change! I grabbed this to try out, as well as some bamboo rolls so we could try making our own. This kit included a bamboo blade for skating. I don't know why I like the fact that it's bamboo as it's probably the cheaper option. However, I like that the reel is made out of bamboo and not plastic like I've seen in other kits. The blade has a nice finish so you won't cut your fingers when not in use. We love this knife and will most likely toss it in the drawer after a sushi night and use it as usual. I love that it comes with four sets of chopsticks. We need more for our family but this was easily arranged. Chopsticks aren't cheap, bamboo that can be disassembled like you can get at a take-away, even though it's bamboo. A lot has happened in the product description for the avocado cutter. However, I just discovered that this is a traditional avocado slicer. I have a few so it's good if we have a sushi prep/food party. I think the sushi bazooka gun looks cool and would be fun, but sushi is optional. So it's just fun.
