We bought this to start the transition from diapering as our son was getting too strong at 2.5 months and would break out of his diaper from time to time. We wanted to make sure there weren't any loose blankets in his crib in case he should break free, but he still has a very strong moro reflex so we need to swaddle him. more legroom. It took our little one a few nights to get used to it but now he's sleeping like this again. I don't really like this design. There's less room to attach the velcro so it's not tight enough to hold his right arm down. In addition, the armholes are smaller so that the bandage cannot be pushed under the other arm on one side and the left arm breaks out as well. I recommend that, but not Love Sack.
