If you are over 38 inches tall but have a B cup you will find that it is IMPOSSIBLE to to buy a bra. 42 inches is literally a fig compared to all 38B bras. The cups are huge and definitely not a B. Of course, if you're over 38", ALL manufacturers, especially Maidenform, assume your breasts are bigger too. I've tried this bra in both 40". and 42" for a B cup, and that's just wrong - a cup larger than 38" is not a B at all. A 40" cup has at least two clasps. The 42" has three clasps, and not only the fingers of my 38B Maidenform fit perfectly in the 42B Maidenform, but the distance between the cups is almost the same length as the back. the difference between them is only 1 inch. I don't know why they think centimeters should be added around your body to the bottom of the cup and why the cup itself is so huge I don't know. So yes, if you have a B cup, you're better off sticking with a size 38 inches or smaller, or you'll never find a bra (standard sports bra or otherwise) that fits without the front height and depth to add.
