This indicates that it is chewable. It's not like this. My 8 month old pup chewed it up quickly. I turned it on to test the heat. My puppy lay next to him and started chewing on the umbilical cord, he chewed on it and got electrocuted which burned his mouth. He ran down the corridor screaming. We didn't know what happened to him. I looked to the side and saw a chewed cord. Thank god for the low voltage. It was such a disappointment.
