I don't think most people who write reviews claiming it's too full or too hard realize that if they just open it they get as much or stripping away a bit of the microfiber (meaning there isn't a single solid microfoam pillow inside) makes it easy to customize as a base to personal tastes. That was too difficult for me from the start. I removed about 1/4 of the filling and it was just right. I saved an additional filling material in case the pillow loses some of its "fluff" over time and during washing. The cover is nice and soft, but not too fluffy. A word of caution: when unpacking, don't start until halfway through. This stuffing will leak faster than you expect and come on everything. However. It's a good pillow, not expensive, it can be washed and dried, and it's very convenient to do it yourself.
