I ordered a dark blue color but I still can't tell if it was dark blue or black. It looked very black to me. I bought this to match a dark blue dress for my son's wedding. I ended up not using it because it really looked black instead of navy blue. Everyone I showed it to also said it was black. Then the light would fall on it in a certain way and it would look very dark blue. Since it was too late to look for anything else, I declined. As for the quality of the wallet, it was good. But it was very stiff and ribbed and difficult to open and close. You have to make an effort to get in and then try to line up the magnetic clasp. The chain strap was very, very long. I'm small so it hangs too low on my body. If I were to use it I would tire the knot in the chain to shorten it a bit. But since it wasn't the right color to begin with, it wasn't necessary.
