It exceeded expectations. Or maybe I didn't know what to expect. But i really like it. Easy cleaning is just as important as reliability and good design. The trays also last longer than I expected and the food stays warm without drying out. At least that was my experience when I used it once. I also like the fact that I can place casseroles or other heat-resistant containers on the hot plate and don't have to use baking trays. It also looks beautiful. I hope to use it over and over again! That's a little more than I expected. Storage can be an issue, but I like to put it on an open shelf for easy access. I recommend this if you are hosting parties and gatherings. That's enough for 10-15 people. I can also wash it in the dishwasher. The lids are plastic, but they look good.
