The longer I use it, the more I will never buy Monoprice again.

At first I was optimistic when I got this tablet, but over time I got tired of using it. The first problem, as everyone notices, is the drivers. You need a specific, now RELATIVELY OLD, version of the Huion H610 Pro tablet driver for this tablet to work, as opposed to Monoprice's own version. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. The battery powered pen is a Finnish mess. Anytime something went wrong with the tablet's sensitivity/input, it was an issue with the stylus, NOT the battery. At the tip of the pen is a thin coil of wire fed by two bare wires - if either of those wires touches the coil your sensitivity is off. So I had to insert a small piece of paper to keep the wire insulated from the spool. Then the switch spring shifted and I couldn't turn on the pen to use it for some time. Was able to fix it. Now that I've had to fiddle with the pen tip again (I felt like my battery was dead due to intermittent registration), I'm mostly insane about the pen pressure not registering properly. Ideally, there should be some sort of gradual curve when you press the stylus. But there is a certain limit beyond which, if I barely cross it, the sensitivity increases dramatically. If I set the pen to require more pressure to gain finer control over light strokes, the "pressure spike" becomes even more noticeable. for some reason, and only once was it the battery. I'm not even sure if I can replace the stylus - Monoprice doesn't seem to sell a replacement for this particular tablet. So if the wire I mentioned earlier breaks, I have to throw everything in the trash. I don't want to revive him again. Overall I would not recommend buying this product. The price is cheap, but it took me more time and emotional energy than it's worth.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • I won't say anything
