My son liked it straight away.

If my boy could rate it I think he would find it very soft and comfortable and would recommend it as he likes it more than other cat beds in the house. He's 17 years old and weighs about 10 pounds so he fits in there and has some room left. I haven't had to deep clean yet, but it's easy to wipe down the inside and remove the hair.
