This monitor was very good for gaming with my S series, frame rates were smooth and colors were vibrant. I wish it had built-in audio and more than two ports with two separate cables, but it's still a great monitor for a beginner. Unfortunately, despite my love for this device, it failed me in less time (3 months!) than my other cheaper monitors. Frustrated, I tried contacting Amazon (who, as expected, told me it was outside the return window) and they helped me meet with HP. After a slightly annoying conversation trying to convince a bad customer service representative I just want to replace him. I was told if they found any damage I would have to pay for a replacement. The cost is $170. Knowing full well that port damage isn't covered, I'll just buy a new monitor. This rating would be worse if I didn't enjoy the short time I had with him.
