This is a nice large quilted scarf. It's very big so I can easily use it as a scarf when it's a bit chilly in my house; In fact, I'm wearing it right now and I'm very comfortable. I ordered the stone color - lovely, soft, with a warm beige tone that pairs well with many pieces in my wardrobe and is versatile enough to wear with anything from a denim jacket to a more traditional wool coat. I find it a bit bulky when folding it up to wear it around my neck as a scarf, especially when trying to tie it in a knot or just throwing one end over my shoulder, but it feels that way for one light layer wonderfully warm. I'm 5'4" and when I wear it as a scarf, with the ends loose and untied, they almost reach my knees (including the tassels) which I think looks great. I don't usually have a problem with merino wool, but I find this scarf a bit scratchy so I will most likely only use it with a turtleneck top.The quality of the wool seems to be high quality although the construction and detailing may not be as good as premium brands.The edges are not good defined although the tassels are well made. There is also some tendency to pill. The label on the product states the fiber content as 100% wool (wool type not stated) and made in Mongolia. However, the packaging said this Product has been made in China from Australian wool It only arrived packaged in a plastic bag and I think for the price it could have been presented a bit better as this d he type of item that is often gifted. I like the rather large logo label sewn onto one end of the scarf. It's easily removed by pulling out the seams with a seam ripper, but it leaves quite a noticeable mark. They tend to disappear after the scarf has been gently hand washed and laid out to dry. I removed the fiber content tag in the same way. Overall I think this scarf is beautiful and also very large and can be worn in different ways. It's surprisingly warm given its lightness and airiness, but I find it a bit overpriced.
