I bought these mainly for my coffee station to be able to empty and store things easily. If I spilled water, coffee, sugar or whatever, I slide the next tray UNDER the dirty one, pull the top tray toward me, then move the coffee maker (small), sugar bowl (large), and coffee mold (2 pounds) . . along with filters, towels, spoons. Voila clean and clean. Rinse the old, enjoy the new. I ordered 12 because it was only double the price of one! I'll let you know what you're going to use it for. Maybe the kids take their lunch to the TV, I don't know.
