off center to skip the needle; breaks the needle
2 of 3 presser feet hit the metal on the presser foot with the needle, preventing it from penetrating and the needle broke and the 3rd presser foot would not attach the presser foot adapter. I have 2 sewing machines and both were the same. Unfortunately I didn't try to use them for several months after receiving them and was stuck with useless sewing machine feet.
