The sensor only works if it is protected against it.
The sensor only works if it is protected from LED light, otherwise the readings are almost the same. The sensor really needs a lens, so it only measures the spot, not the field. Color values vary depending on the distance to the measured surface. It would be helpful if the LEDs could be turned off.
