This product only lasted me one tube of application paste, after which I had to throw it away. The part of the tube where the brush is screwed (thread) fell off and got stuck in the brush. After a failed (and unsanitary/stupid/dangerous) stabbing attempt, I called it a defeat and had to throw it away. However, prior to this incident, it never got rid of thick paste residue no matter what you do to clean it (I even poured boiled water on it to sanitize after donating soap). Of course, you're wondering if it's more hygienic to just use your finger after sanitizing than that wipe that multiplies bacteria after each use. Unfortunately, I was very happy when I bought this product. But now I'm back where I started and I have fewer dollars in my pocket!
