6ft 1in 230# - And it fits.

Update: 14 months. The seat frame broke where the recline mechanism was attached. Corsair will replace the chair under warranty, return the ENTIRE chair and pay $75-100 for return shipping. They don't just want to change the seat because "they don't have a part number". Forget it. Looks like I'm about to weld the frame. A few weeks later, Corsair decided to send another chair under warranty. The old one was asked for recycling. ---------------------- --------------------------- --------------- ---------------------- ------------------------------------------ ----- - I've had this chair for eight months, it replaced the 15th. A versatile high back office chair that has been around for many years. This chair is used about 10 hours a day. This chair is inspired by racing seats. Racing seats aren't big, puffy cushions. They are durable. They keep you in place. not adjustable This chair is a snug fit, but it's not a racing seat, which is good. Almost everything about this chair is adjustable except for the lower back. It's hard work. I'm not a short guy - I'm not too flimsy and my lats are wider than my waist so they fit snugly against my back, but it's NOT uncomfortable. The armrests are a bit stiff and wobbly, but they were the same on my $1200 Herman Miller Aeron. The shape of the armrest could be more organic. Crown rubber wheels on swivel casters allow the chair to slide easily over smooth floors but tend to dig into pile carpets. This is a heavy chair and maneuvering on a pile carpet can be a chore. Observation: People lose their bearings, they seem to slide their chairs across the carpet. The wheels of the chair have lost several roller bearings. Corsair replaced all five reels two days after the announcement. The new wheels have a thicker top race. After four months of running this chair on heavy carpet, no loose bearings! Some pull a children's card, claiming the camps pose a choking/safety hazard for "small children and pets". This is very extreme and must come from those who (without medical need) crush their aspirin before taking it. These bearings are maybe 5/32 inch. I can tell you I swallowed a 1/4 ball bearing as a kid. Easy down, easy out.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Vulgarity
