The ease of use for both our drivers to input data into their logbooks as well has improved driver satisfaction by allowing them more control over how they are monitored in regards to performance metrics such as OOS calls/missed runs etc.. At this time I can say it does not have any downsides but if there was anything i could find we would certainly implement within 30 days! We've been able to monitor all aspects regarding safety through out the fleet including vehicle maintenance. This also allows us to keep track of fuel usage which makes sure cost per mile remains low when compared against other carriers at similar levels of service provided. Additionally, having access to real-time reporting makes management easier because you get instant updates from your team members without using multiple tools like excel spreadsheets or manually entering information (which causes errors). It's great being proactive.
