Suggestions for assembly because it's not easy

After reading other reviews about assembly difficulties, here are a few suggestions: β€’ Use a rubber-backed mouse pad to grab the dowels as you turn the Allen key; β€’ Put on thick work gloves, oven mitts, or several layers of cloth to hold an Allen wrench if you don't already have a thick, hard callus; β€’ When driving screws into the dowels, orient them straight into the dowels and not at a 90 degree angle to the square legs β€’ the screws go easily into the bottom of the seat, but β€’ the screws in the dowels go in the way . Have someone hold things together while you turn an Allen wrench or dowel, or hold a stool upside down; β€’ Gradually tighten the four screws, one at a time on each leg. Yes, they should keep going - until the pins no longer slide in the holes. If you don't, over time the chair will loosen those joints and you'll fall on your butt. When holding the hex wrench with a box wrench, be careful to hold it straight to avoid damaging the tool or the hole. I hope these tips make your job easier.
