Works as advertised but you get what you pay for

Pros Really affordable and works as expected. The magnets worked surprisingly well in my case and all the lights worked as expected. No dead LEDs or anything like that. I got them to have some simple 12V RGB lights that they plug into my ASUS board's RGB headers. I've tried airgoo's addressable LED strips, but the problem with this is that the iCUE software, which I use to control all my system lights, uses an ASUS motherboard plugin that doesn't support addressable strips yet. They worked perfectly with the ROG Crosshair VII Hero motherboard and the latest version of iCUE at the time of writing this article (3.33.246). The included extension was enough to get all three straps where I wanted them with decent cable management. ConsMan, build quality sucks. The connectors for the RGB header, 4-pin individual strip header, and expansion header are really loose and don't snap/snap at all. A light breeze can pull these things apart, allowing you to snap the connections together once everything is connected. This is only likely to be an issue if you plan on getting in and out of your suitcase frequently, or moving the suitcase around frequently. The time will show. Another issue is that the wires are very thin, so be careful when running them through your system. Be careful not to thread them carelessly over the metal edges, through holes in the back panel, etc. I was very careful and somehow managed to snip an inch off the side of one of the three plugs on the main cable. There was a metal wire underneath, which is bad when you're wiring these things to a $200 motherboard in a case with some metal parts. Luckily I was able to fix that with some tape. As the name suggests, you get what you pay for! These wires and connectors are not durable at all. Overall it's good value for money. For what I wanted, I'd happily pay $19 for them compared to $60-70 for the equivalent of a big brand that needs a hub. However, if you value solid connections and high processing quality, you should use more expensive kits from one of the big brands.
