Not bright enough "DayTime Safety " for Road Bikers

I have two Olight RN400, I loved it so much I purchased two more for my other family members. I already have several no-name LED tail lights, as you see on the photo and brightness comparison video I attached to this review. I am an avid road cyclists, I try to ride 150 miles a week as time and my legs allows me to. I am mostly on bicycle trails, but almost one third of the time I am on the regulars roads. I always have in the back of my mind, what if vehicles approaching from behind doesn't notice me. It's a very scary thought especially when you are trying to focus on your riding, cadence, technic and etc. I know there are some lights out the bright and equipped with radar tech and etc. however I can't afford it. SO my budget for a tail light is under $30. Being so impressed with my Olight headlights and after reading stellar reviews on Walmart, I decided to purchase this light. It was packaged well, however as soon as I took it out of the box, didn't feel right at all. I found the light very flimsy, feels light it's going to break any moment, doesn't have the rugged feeling I have on my other cheaper LED lights. Connecting to light to my seatpost is a challenge, because the included rubber is not long enough to comfortably connect the other side, also feels like it's going to snap any moment. I was checking the seatpost as I was riding to see the light is still there. Also if you mount it to your seatpost, light basically angled towards to your rear wheel, not to the incoming traffic, there is no angle correction rubber piece or any mechanism. I also found this light very dim comparing to my other lights. Also my RN400 has USB Type C charging port, this tail light comes with the old Micro USB, which is pain connect with a cable. Why can't Olight unify their charging ports? Sadly I am going to give 1 -star. If you are in road biking or riding in traffic, steer away from this light. Thanks for reading my review.

Pros
  • With 30 Lumens, this tail light provides bright, clear illumination for increased safety on the road
Cons
  • May not be compatible with all bike seats
